PTMA HPMC Dispersant in PVC Production

Industrial grade HPMC. It is mainly used as dispersant in PVC production. It is the main auxiliary agent for suspension polymerization to prepare PVC. HPMC FOR PVC PRODUCTION

PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:


1. Appearance: white or off white powder, odorless and tasteless.


2. Particle size: 100 mesh, passing rate greater than 98.5%; The passing rate of 80 mesh is greater than 100%.


3. Carbonization temperature: 280-300 ℃.


4. Apparent density: 0.25-0.70g / (usually about 0.5g /), specific gravity: 1.26-1.31.


5. Discoloration temperature: 190-200 ℃.


6. Surface tension: 42-56dyn / cm for 20% aqueous solution.


7. Solubility: soluble in water and some organic solvents, such as appropriate proportion of ethanol / water, propanol / water, dichloroethane, etc. Aqueous solution has surface activity, high transparency and stable performance. The gel temperature of different specifications of products is different, which is the thermal gelation property of HPMC. Solubility changes with viscosity. The lower the viscosity, the greater the solubility. The performance of HPMC of different specifications is different. The dissolution of HPMC in water is not affected by pH value.


8. HPMC decreased with the decrease of methoxy group, the gel point increased, the solubility of water decreased, and the surface activity also decreased.


9. HPMC also has the characteristics of thickening ability, salt drainage, low ash, pH stability, water retention, dimensional stability, excellent film-forming, extensive enzyme resistance, dispersion and adhesion.


APPLICATIONS


This product HPMC is industrial grade HPMC. It is mainly used as dispersant in PVC production. It is the main auxiliary agent for suspension polymerization to prepare PVC. In addition, it is used as thickener, stabilizer, emulsifier, excipient, water retaining agent and film-forming agent in the production of other petrochemical, building materials, paint remover, agricultural chemicals, ink, textile printing and dyeing, ceramics, papermaking, cosmetics and other products. The application in synthetic resin can make the obtained products have the characteristics of regular particles, looseness, appropriate specific gravity and excellent processing performance, so as to basically replace gelatin and polyvinyl alcohol as dispersant. In addition, in the construction process of construction industry, it is mainly used in mechanized construction such as wall building, plastering and caulking; Especially in the decorative construction, it is used for pasting ceramic tiles, marble and plastic decoration, with high pasting strength and reducing the amount of cement. It is used as thickener in the coating industry, which can make the coating bright and delicate, do not de powder, and improve the leveling performance. Used for plastering gypsum, pasting gypsum, caulking gypsum and water-resistant putty, which can significantly * * its water retention, pasting strength, etc. It can also be used in functional ceramics, metallurgy, seed coating agent, water-based ink, cosmetics, electronics, printing and dyeing, papermaking and other fields.



DISSOLUTION METHOD:



1. Take the required amount of hot water, put it into the container, heat it to above 80 ℃, and gradually add the product under slow stirring. The cellulose floats on the water at first, but is gradually dispersed to form a uniform slurry, and then cool the solution under stirring.


2. Or heat 1 / 3 or 2 / 3 of hot water to above 85 ℃, add cellulose to obtain hot water slurry, then add the remaining amount of cold water, keep stirring and cool to obtain the mixture.


3. The mesh number of cellulose is fine, and it is a single small particle in the evenly stirred powder. It will dissolve rapidly in water to form the required viscosity.


4. Slowly and evenly add cellulose at room temperature, and keep stirring during the adding process until a transparent solution is formed.



PACKAGING, STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION:


Packaging: plastic coated polypropylene woven bag or cardboard barrel lined with polyethylene film inner bag. Net weight of each barrel: 25kg. During storage and transportation, it shall be protected from sun, rain and moisture.
