This Microcrystalline cellulose is a white or almost white powder or granularpowder, odorless and tasteless, insoluble in water, ethanol, ether.dilute sulfuric acid, organic solvents, and oil. It is partiallydissolved in 5% alkaline solution, mostly expanded, and canabsorb 2-3 times the amount of water and 1.2-1.4 times theamount of oil, with an apparent density of 0.2-0.4g/cm3.

Uses
Microcrystalline cellulose from ptma tech is a pharmaceutical excipient specially manufactured for tablet production. This product is highly porous particles, easily deformed, has a large drug capacity, good dry adhesion and disintegration properties, and can be pressed into very hard tablets. It is the preferred filling agent, adhesive, and disintegration agent for tablets. Microcrystalline cellulose has good flowability and can be easily mixed with other excipients. Adding an appropriate amount of this product can improve the dissolution of the drug in the tablet. This MCC from ptmatech can also be used as an excipient, stabilizer, etc. in food additives and daily chemical industries.
