Purpose:This HPMC E5 is a multifunctional medicinal excipient that can be used as a thickener, dispersant, emulsifier, and film-forming agent.
HPMC also can be used as a thickener, emulsifier, etc. in the food industry and daily chemical industry to improve the rheological properties of products.
As a film coating, adhesive, etc. in oral solid formulations, it can significantly improve the stability and dissolution of drugs, and enhance the waterproofing of tablets.
HPMC E5 combines with other polymer compounds or colloidal drugs to prevent the separation of water or ethanol from transparent aqueous colloidal drugs.
