  • What's HEC?

    Hydroxyethyl Cellulose is a series of non-ionic soluble cellulose ether, which can be dissolved in hot or cold water, and has the characteristics of thickening, suspending, adhesives, emulsion, film coating super absorbent polymers protective colloid, which is widely used in paints, cosmetics, oil drilling and other industries.

  • What's functions of HPMC used in cement based plaster?

    Cement based plaster/render is the finishing material that can be applied to any interior or exterior walls. 
    HPMC - Cellulose Ethers plays an vital role in improving various properties like sag resistance, workability, water retention, thickening effect and so on.

  • What's skim coat ? and hpmc functions in it ?

     Skim coat is a very fine material that can be applied to any interior or exterior surface. The thickness of this coat is usually 1 to 3mm.  
    The most important role of hpmc is to provide ease of work when the coat is applied manually.  
    Besides, hpmc improves water retention, sag resistance, and crack resistance.
