Thickening Agent
This product is a high molecular weight polyacrylic acid additive.

Characteristics and Applications:
This thickener endows latex paint with excellent mechanical stability, storage stability, and freeze-thaw stability, as well as good anti mold, water-resistant, and scrub resistant properties. This product is a viscous liquid and easy to use. It is an ideal thickener for various water-based coatings such as styrene acrylic latex paint and ethylene propylene latex paint.
Instructions:
1. The water-based thickener can be directly mixed into lotion or latex paint, and the thickening effect of the final product should be more than 7. When the pH value is below 7, alkaline substances such as ammonia water should be added to adjust the pH value to above 7. Otherwise, the thickening effect will be poor or even not thickening.
2. The general dosage of this thickener is about (1-2.5)% by weight of the latex paint. Based on achieving the required viscosity of the latex paint finished product.
3. The addition of this thickener to latex paint has no significant effect on gloss, scrub resistance, mold resistance, and the leveling and sagging of the coating.
Packaging and Storage:
50kg and 200kg plastic drums. The product should be stored in a cool, ventilated, and dry warehouse for one year. It is classified as a non hazardous material.
