Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC)
PTMA-HEC is a white or slightly yellow, odorless, tasteless, and flowable powder with a 40 mesh sieving rate of over 99%; Softening temperature 135~140 ℃; Apparent density of 0.35~0.61g/cm °; Decomposition temperature 205~210 ℃; The combustion rate is slow. Soluble in cold or hot water, does not precipitate when heated or boiled, and is generally insoluble in most organic solvents. The viscosity changes slightly within the pH range of 2-12, but decreases beyond this range.
PTMA-HEC is a non-ionic type that can coexist with other water-soluble polymers, surfactants, and salts over a wide range. It is an excellent colloidal thickener containing high concentration electrolyte solutions, with a water retention capacity twice that of methyl cellulose and good flow regulation. The dispersibility of HEC is inferior to that of methyl cellulose (MC) and hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC), but it has the strongest ability to protect colloids.PTMA - Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) is a white or slightly yellow, odorless, tasteless, and flowable powder with a 40 mesh sieving rate of over 99%; Softening temperature 135~140 ℃; Apparent density of 0.35~0.61g/cm °; Decomposition temperature 205~210 ℃; The combustion rate is slow.
