Tile Adhesive Mortar

Product Description

What is the shelf life of tile adhesive?
In a cool and dry environment, the shelf life of unopened tile adhesive is 1 year. Tiles are agglomerated, indicating that their active ingredients have begun to react and should be discarded.
Mixing time of tile adhesive
The tile adhesive should be stirred with a low-speed mixer (500r/min). The powder is added to the water and stirred for 3-5 minutes to form a uniform paste-free glue.
How long can the tile adhesive be used after stirring with water?
Generally, we use a blender to mix for 3-5 minutes, let it stand for about 5 minutes, and then stir it again before use.
There are two functions for standing here: one is to exclude the air brought in during the mixing process, and the other is to let the tile adhesive fully cure, which is conducive to maximize the adhesion of the tile adhesive.
How long does it take to run out after mixing the tile adhesive?
Under standard conditions (at 20°C and 50% humidity), the operating time of the tile adhesive is approximately 3 hours. The actual operable time depends on the weather conditions. In hot and windy weather, the operable time will become shorter. For example, in summer, the operable time of indoor tile adhesive in the southern region will be shortened, and the well-mixed tile adhesive should be used up within 1 hour.
How long can the misalignment be adjusted after the tile is glued without affecting the bonding strength?
The time for tile adjustment can be adjusted without affecting the bonding strength within 30 minutes. If the adjustment time is exceeded, the adjustment will affect the performance of the tile adhesive.
How long does it take for the tile adhesive to dry out and harden?
Refers to the time for the tile adhesive to set and harden after pasting. Normally the curing time of the tile adhesive is 24 hours. Under the environment of low temperature and high humidity, the hydration reaction rate of cement-based products will become slower. In order to better lock the moisture, water retention agent is added to the tile adhesive, so the curing time will be extended accordingly, so the finished product protection work should be done during winter construction.
How long can the tiles be laid after the grass-roots treatment?
After the concrete surface is completed, it needs to be cured for 6 weeks before laying bricks; the newly plastered surface should be cured for at least 7 days before laying bricks. The old concrete and plastered surfaces can be cleaned with industrial detergents or degreasing agents, and then rinsed with a high-pressure faucet. The surface is allowed to dry for 24 hours before laying bricks.
